Number One Pick Myles Garrett Living to the Hype

Oh, wow! The number one overall pick in the draft is officially here! Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns DE's NFL debut has been long awaited. And, we got a little surprise when he came on the field in Week 5 against the New York Jets.

It was a 3rd and 5 situation for Josh McCown, QB of the Jets, and Gregg Williams stacked the defensive line to get some pressure. And, when you want pressure, you want Myles Garrett. Keep in mind that this Garrett's first NFL snap, and he obliterates McCown for a sack. He wasn't even on the outside lineman, Williams chose him to put inside pressure on the running back! After the game, though the Browns lost it, Gregg Williams spoke highly of him: "He's had a good week [in practice]."Some of the Browns defensive players saw the look in his eyes, hungry for that NFL sack.

Even more, it has been 25 years since a number one overall pick had a sack in their first GAME, let alone their first PLAY. From this performance, we can expect great things out of this amazing defensive lineman.
