Week Eleven: Power Rankings

Everyone in the NFL is 10 games away from determining whether they're in the playoffs, 26 of them legitimately in that playoff race. Other than the Philadelphia Eagles, who are ranked number one for 5 consecutive times, no one is clearly running away from their division. The Patriots are going to play second place team Buffalo Bills, while the Steelers play second place Baltimore Ravens once. Keep in mind that, looking at the Raven's schedule, it's pretty easy. So, with that being said, let's head on to the Week 11 power rankings.
st Rank: Philadelphia Eagles (--)
nd Rank: New England Patriots (+1)
rd Rank: Pittsburgh Steelers (+1)
th Rank: Minnesota Vikings (+1)
th Rank: New Orleans Saints (-1)
th Rank: Los Angeles Rams (-4)
th Rank: Jacksonville Jaguars (--)
th Rank: Carolina Panthers (+2)
Let's begin the top eight of the rankings. As we've said, the Eagles stay at number one. The Patriots take a quick win in Mexico against the Raiders, with that 63 yard field goal by Stephen Gostowski. That's why he's the most paid kicker. Steelers go up after a dominant win, the Vikings beat the Rams, the Saints move down after winning a very close one in OT, the Rams drop A LOT, the Jaguars stay put after a mediocre win against Cleveland, and finally, the Panthers, though on bye this week, recently got back their star tight end, Greg Olsen. He'll help Cam A LOT in the passing game.
th Rank: Atlanta Falcons (+2)
th Rank: Detroit Lions (+2)
th Rank: Seattle Seahawks (-3)
th Rank: Kansas City Chiefs (-3)
th Rank: Washington Redskins (+1)
th Rank: Houston Texans (+2)
th Rank: Baltimore Ravens (+2)
th Rank: Dallas Cowboys (-3)
As we begin the next eight, every team on this list moved. Starting with the Falcons, they beat the Seahawks, the Lions win a game in Chicago, the Seahawks drop after losing to a lower seed Atlanta, Chiefs lose to the GIANTS, the Redskins move up after a close game to the Saints, the Texans beat the Cardinals, the Ravens SHUTOUT the Packers, and Dallas losing in HOME to the Eagles. Pretty sad. Let's head on to the next eight.

th Rank: Tennessee Titans (-2)
th Rank: Los Angeles Chargers (+6)
th Rank: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2)
th Rank: Cincinnati Bengals (+5)
st Rank: Oakland Raiders (-3)
nd Rank: New York Jets (--)
rd Rank: Indianapolis Colts (--)
th Rank: Buffalo Bills (-5)
Let's discuss the 17th through 24th ranks. The Titans get DESTROYED on Thursday to the Steelers, the Chargers overkill the Bills after Nathan Peterman threw FIVE interceptions. The Buccaneers beat Miami, the Bengals beat Denver, the Oakland Raiders lose AGAIN to New England in MEXICO, the Jets and Colts were on bye this week, and the Bills, as we've said, dropped a LOT after losing to the Jets. Now that we think of it, the Jets could take on the Bills rankings-wise. Now, let's talk about the final eight.
th Rank: Green Bay Packers (-5)
th Rank: New York Giants (+6)
th Rank: San Francisco 49ers (--)
th Rank: Denver Broncos (-2)
th Rank: Chicago Bears (-1)
th Rank: Miami Dolphins (-1)
st Rank: Arizona Cardinals (-1)
nd Rank: Cleveland Browns (-1)
Finally, we have the last eight of the bunch. The Packers score NOTHING in Week Eleven with the lead of Brett Hundley (we don't know why Head Coach Mike McCarthy isn't removing this guy), the Giants upset the Chiefs, the 49ers were on bye, the Broncos lose to the Bengals, the Bears lose to Detroit in their stadium, the Dolphins also lose to Tampa Bay in HOME, the Cardinals lose to the Texans that DO NOT have Deshaun Watson, and the Browns move down to last. Sigh.
So, there you have it, all of the Week Eleven power rankings. We know some of these teams are having some rough days, especially that Peterman guy, but hey, next week's Thanksgiving. And there's two benefits. One, you get some really awesome food to eat and you get to hang out with friends and relatives. Two, no teams are on bye next week in Week 12! We're gonna have 16 games, and that's that! Pretty awesome.
