Just about to kick off Week Five of the NFL season! We just need 12 more weeks till the playoffs. This week has some pretty interesting matchups in store for us, starting with the Thursday game Patriots vs Buccaneers. We also have a nail-bitting one: the Jaguars vs the Steelers. From this list, a couple of spotlight games stand out. The Steelers vs Jaguars, Chiefs vs Texans, and Packers vs Cowboys are some of them. However, Week Five itself stands out from the rest. We're getting the first teams on bye week (Falcons, Broncos, Saints, and Redskins), from the obvious shortage of games. Pretty cool. Something else that's pretty cool is our Week Five MVP, and that is . . .
Deshaun Watson, QB, Houston Texans.
Now, many fans, apart from Texans one, question repeating Watson again as MVP of the week. But, AnythingNFL's got our reasons for this. You have this fresh Clemson quarterback facing the only undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, and he scores FIVE touchdowns?! Not even Tom Brady could do that in his Week One matchup against the Chiefs. Watson, throwing 261 passing yards and FIVE touchdowns, played one heck of a game. We'll see if Watson chooses this game as momentum or as a defeat. We'll find out in Week Six.
