So, we're just about to get started with the Week Nine power rankings, and let us tell you, there is definitely some action in ALL seeds. On the top of our heads, we can't think of ONE team staying still (except the number one seed), but we're probably wrong. Feel free to send us an email answering this question or anything else you wanna tell us. Anyways, back to the rankings, you'll notice some change because we had TWO 51 point games that completely blew out the opposing side. They're the first and second ranks. So, let's get into the top eight.
st Rank: Philadelphia Eagles (--)
nd Rank: Los Angeles Rams (+1)
rd Rank: Pittsburgh Steelers (-1)
th Rank: New England Patriots (--)
th Rank: New Orleans Saints (+1)
th Rank: Jacksonville Jaguars (+3)
th Rank: Dallas Cowboys (+3)
th Rank: Minnesota Vikings (--)
Whew. Starting with the top eight, the Eagles stay at number one with the blowout win against Denver, the Rams do exactly the same with the Giants, the Steelers were on bye but we had to move them ONE spot down because of the Rams stellar performance, the Patriots on bye, the Saints on bye, the Jaguars crushing the Bengals, the Cowboys winning against the Chiefs, and the Vikings on bye as well. Wow. The Chiefs are definitely moving down, and we can see that in the power rankings
th Rank: Kansas City Chiefs (-4)
th Rank: Seattle Seahawks (-3)
th Rank: Carolina Panthers (+1)
th Rank: Washington Redskins (+4)
th Rank: Houston Texans (-2)
th Rank: Atlanta Falcons (-1)
th Rank: Buffalo Bills (-1)
th Rank: Detroit Lions (+2)
According to the next eight in the rankings, some of the top eight teams moved down over here. The Chiefs are one of them, moving down after a loss to Dallas. Same with the Seahawks with a loss to Washington. The Panthers win against Atlanta, the Redskins win, the Texans move down after Deshaun Watson is injured, the Bills lose to the Jets, and the Lions winning against Green Bay. Really don't think we should've moved Detroit THAT much, let alone not at ALL because the Packers don't have Aaron Rodgers.

th Rank: Baltimore Ravens (-2)
th Rank: Oakland Raiders (+2)
th Rank: Los Angeles Chargers (--)
th Rank: Tennessee Titans (+3)
st Rank: New York Jets (+4)
nd Rank: Green Bay Packers (-5)
rd Rank: Cincinnati Bengals (-2)
th Rank: Denver Broncos (-2)
As we begin the next eight, many of these teams moved. We've also got some AFC West rivalry between Los Angeles and Oakland. So, the Ravens lose against the Titans, the Raiders win against Miami, the Chargers were on bye, Tennessee won as we said, Jets win against BUFFALO -- pretty impressive, the Packers lose again, the Bengals get destroyed by the Jaguars, and the Broncos give up 51 points against our number one seed. Pretty bad. Let's move away from this tragedy.
th Rank: Arizona Cardinals (+4)
th Rank: Chicago Bears (--)
th Rank: Miami Dolphins (-3)
th Rank: Indianapolis Colts (+4)
th Rank: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2)
th Rank: San Francisco 49ers (--)
st Rank: Cleveland Browns (--)
nd Rank: New York Giants (-4)
Kicking off the next eight -- pretty much the last eight -- we begin with the Cardinals, who won against the 49ers. The Bears were on bye, the Dolphins manage to lose against the Raiders, the Colts win against the Texans, the Buccaneers lose against our number five seed, the 49ers, as we mentioned, lost to Arizona, the Browns were on bye, and finally, the Giants cap it off at 32 with a blowout loss to the Rams. Pretty bad stuff. We remember when we thought the Giants would win Super Bowl 52. Not anymore, it looks like.
So, there it is, Week Nine power rankings. As much as we're concerned with the last eight, especially New York in there, they're not going anywhere. We mean, the best record in those eight is 4-4. You're going to have to win at least six games at the minimum, give or take depending on the strength of your division. Like, some teams in there may, but the Giants, oh no. With the Eagles, Cowboys, and Redskins above the 12 seed mark, there's no way they'll make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl we thought they would win. Come on, Giants!
