Alright! One more week after this one and we've got that LONG wait before the playoffs. That's it, people, all of Week 16. Looking back on some of those games, we see that things are heating up, for two reasons. One, obviously it's the playoffs, yet that only applies to those who have qualified for it. Another reason is the revenge, the motivation to ruin teams that actually have A SHOT to make it. The 49ers are one of them, wrecking that Jaguars stacked defense and scoring 44 on them. Pretty embarrassing considering the Jaguars are going into those playoffs at the number three spot right now. For the MVP of Week 16, we have some honorable mentions -- Cam Newton, Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff, and Deandre Hopkins -- but the NFL MVP of Week 16 is . . .
Todd Gurley, RB, Los Angeles Rams.
Todd Gurley did AMAZING against a prominent and playoff ready Titans offense. Along with Jared Goff throwing four touchdowns and 301 passing yards, Todd Gurley lit the run AND pass game. He had 118 running yards, which led the game, and had 158 RECEIVING YARDS. That's even more than Julio Jones, Tyreek Hill, or GRONK! Though he had no running touchdowns, he had TWO receiving touchdowns. That's awesome because Gurley is a running back. Proving that he can make an impact in both sides of the game will make the Rams offense THAT much more dangerous.
