Week Three: Power Rankings

Here we go: Week Three Power Rankings. We've got a lot to tell you, because there has been some shifty places here on the rankings. Ranging from the Redskin upset to the 49er explosion, we're sure you don't know where every team is. Some of these teams are GOING PLACES. Let's start with the top eight.

st Rank: Kansas City Chiefs (--)

nd Rank: Atlanta Falcons (+4)

rd Rank: New England Patriots (--)

th Rank: Detroit Lions (--)

th Rank: Tennessee Titans (+9)

th Rank: Washington Redskins (+10)

th Rank: Jacksonville Jaguars (+1)

th Rank: Minnesota Vikings (+7)

Look at those Chiefs staying up in the rankings at number one. Wow. This team is very complete and deserve that number one spot. The Falcons rise at two with a 3-0 record. The Patriots are third with Brady's FIVE touchdown game. Lions stay, Titans pull an upset to the Seahawks, and Vikings get a cheap win. But what about those Redskins? They upset the Rams and the Raiders (you'll see their rank down below) after their dominant 45 point game? They are pulling up to be one of those stronger teams.

th Rank: Oakland Raiders (-7)

th Rank: Los Angeles Rams (+9)

th Rank: Philadelphia Eagles (+1)

th Rank: Green Bay Packers (-2)

th Rank: Denver Broncos (--)

th Rank: Pittsburgh Steelers (-9)

th Rank: Seattle Seahawks (-4)

th Rank: New Orleans Saints (+6)

We've got some newcomers in the 9th-16th ranks: the Saints, Raiders, and Rams. Raiders, losing to the Redskins, sadly move down. Rams get a strong win after figuring out wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Eagles stay strong with a last second win at 11. Packers move down because they let the last seed to put them in overtime -- not good. Broncos stay still. Steelers plummet after a loss to the Bears. Seahawks go down after a loss and the Saints join the squad at 16 after their dominant win against the Panthers.

th Rank: Carolina Panthers (-8)

th Rank: Baltimore Ravens (-10)

th Rank: Chicago Bears (+12)

th Rank: Dallas Cowboys (+5)

st Rank: New York Jets (+8)

nd Rank: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1)

rd Rank: Houston Texans (-5)

th Rank: Buffalo Bills (-7)

Some of these teams were just clueless this week, starting with the Panthers, losing against the SAINTS. Ravens lose horribly, Bears get a surprising overtime win against Pittsburgh, Cowboys move up after an easy win, Jets move after destroying the Dolphin offense, Tampa Bay, going up after a tough match, Texans moving down after losing, and Bills, moving down because they played HORRIBLY, but still won.

th Rank: Arizona Cardinals (-4)

th Rank: Indianapolis Colts (+1)

th Rank: San Francisco 49ers (+1)

th Rank: New York Giants (-2)

th Rank: Los Angeles Chargers (-6)

th Rank: Miami Dolphins (-10)

st Rank: Cincinnati Bengals (+1)

nd Rank: Cleveland Browns (-1)

These last eight didn't play as well as we thought they would in Week Three. Cardinals suffer a loss to Dallas, Colts win a game against the Browns, 49ers lost but moved the football, Giants lost a miracle match so we didn't put them down too much, Chargers still 0-3, Dolphins lost to the JETS, Bengals move up after fighting the Packers, and the Browns stay at number thirty-two.

As always, these rankings are never the same, and this week, no difference. Many teams moved drastically up after miracle wins, such as the Eagles, Redskins, and Bears. Some teams went drastically down, normally the opponents to the miracle winners. However, we're sure the rankings will stabilize next week because it isn't a divisional game. Less competition, more action from the players. Sad thing is, it probably won't be as exciting. But, who knows?
