Week Two: Power Rankings

Now just finishing the second week, our rankings are shifting a little. We've observed two brand new teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins, that didn't play in Week One. This isn't bad though, as both of these teams won and are currently 1-0. Let's just go straight ahead into the new rankings! By the way, since we're in Week two, your team probably moved. So, we've indicated whether your team stayed still (--), dropped (-1), or went higher (+).

1st Rank: Kansas City Chiefs (--)

2nd Rank: Oakland Raiders (+12)

3rd Rank: New England Patriots (+1)

4th Rank: Detroit Lions (-1)

5th Rank: Pittsburgh Steelers (+6)

6th Rank: Atlanta Falcons (+6)

7th Rank: Jacksonville Jaguars (-5)

8th Rank: Baltimore Ravens (+2)

Starting at rank 1 is none other than the Chiefs, who are 2-0, and faced an amazing team (Patriots), and a decent team (Eagles). They're just too strong. However, the Oakland Raiders are coming up 12 spots, after crushing the New York Jets 45-20. Stellar performance on the offense and defense from Oakland. The Patriots had a dominant win against an easy team, so we moved them one spot. Lions, Steelers, Falcons, and Ravens are 2-0, but were easy opponents. Jacksonville, sadly, were moved down FIVE spots when they lost to the Titans.

9th Rank: Carolina Panthers (-2)

10th Rank: Green Bay Packers (-5)

11th Rank: Seattle Seahawks (+5)

12th Rank: Philadelphia Eagles (-3)

13th Rank: Denver Broncos (+8)

14th Rank: Tennessee Titans (+4)

15th Rank: Minnesota Vikings (-9)

16th Rank: Washington Redskins (+4)

We're seeing some real change in the "wild card" spot, as we like to call it. Panthers move down after a tough game, Packers move after a loss, Seahawks up from the win, Eagles down from the loss, but how 'bout the Broncos? Scoring 40+ points against former number one seed Dallas Cowboys is pretty impressive. Redskins get a margin win, and the Vikings move down from the loss to the Steelers.

17th Rank: Buffalo Bills (-2)

18th Rank: Houston Texans (--)

19th Rank: Los Angeles Rams (-11)

20th Rank: Miami Dolphins (+6)

21st Rank: Arizona Cardinals (+2)

22nd Rank: New Orleans Saints (-5)

23rd Rank: Los Angeles Chargers (+1)

24th Rank: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3)

We've got some teams who moved down this week, such as the Bills, Rams, and Saints. Bills, losing to the Panthers, Rams, losing to the Redskins, and Saints, losing to the Patriots, are where they don't wanna be. However, the Cardinals, Dolphins and Buccaneers won their games! -- but to rather easy teams. Let's see whether they can come back up.

25th Rank: Dallas Cowboys (-12)

26th Rank: New York Giants (-1)

27th Rank: Indianapolis Colts (+2)

28th Rank: San Francisco 49ers (--)

29th Rank: New York Jets (+1)

31st Rank: Chicago Bears (-8)

30th Rank: Cleveland Browns (--)

32nd Rank: Cincinnati Bengals (--)

Most teams who were on these last eight rankings stayed there -- with exception to Miami and Tampa Bay, who got their first wins. We were nice and gave the Jets a rank because they were able to give the Raiders a DECENT competition (obviously not a lot though). The Cowboys, WHEW . . . What was that game against the Broncos? They couldn't do anything, and having a reputation as number one NFC seed is not helping. But, we're positive they'll come back up.

Wow! Another week of football, blown by! At this stage, we now know every team and how their new additions are helping them out. Stay tuned in to check out the Week Three Recap, because we're excited about that! Definitely pumped to see that Watson VS Brady matchup. To be honest, not even we know who'll win . . . it's that close.
